Mr. Mithá holds a degree in Economics from Eduardo Mondlane University (1992, Mozambique) and a Post-Graduate in Management from ISCTE (2005, Portugal). From 2008 to 2014, Mr. Mithá was Chief Economist and Investment Banking Manager (Research, M&A, Project Finance and Credit) of the Millennium International Bank of Mozambique (BIM). The bank consolidated its position as number one in Mozambique both by asset value and market share. In 2015, Mr. Mithá was appointed Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade. From August 2015 to present day, Mr. Mithá is ENH´s chairman and CEO.

Has more than 20 years of professional experience and since 2012 has embraced the top management of cluster construction companies and investment and management of holdings. He has experience in consulting in the areas of Management, Corporate Finance and Systems and Information Technologies. He was a professor of cost accounting and financial management at IEG and ISCTEM; Postgraduate in Business Management from the Higher Institute of Labor and Enterprise Sciences, ISCTE – Portugal and a degree in Management from Eduardo Mondlane University, Faculty of Economics.
He was a non-executive Director of BCI from 2013 to May 2016. From 2006 to 2011 he was Managing Partner of INTELLICA, Serviços de Consultoria and was a consultant of ERNST & YOUNG from 1999 to 2006, having served as Manager of the strategic consulting area, management and corporate finance. From 1997 to 1999 he was a Research Technician from the Studies and Planning Department of BIM.
Miguel studied economics at the University of Algarve in Portugal and Sheffield Hallam University in the UK between 1993 and 1997. Started his banking career in 1998 at Millenninumbcp in Portugal and joined Millennium Bim operation in Mozambique in 1999. Miguel has been with BIM for 11 years and from 2001 he was the Commercial Manager at Corporate and a Member of the team that successfully made the merger of Banco Comercial de Moçambique and BIM – Banco Internacional de Moçambique.He was also the Head of the New Business Department including the relationship with the South African Corporates and IFI. Between 2010 and 2017 Miguel was the founding shareholder of Banco Unico, Executive board member responsible for Corporate, Investment Banking, Retail and Business Banking, Midle Office and International Financial Institutions. Since 2018 he has been the Executive Board Member of JAT and Tensai Group of companies focused on property development. He is a wildlife passionate visited the main parks and conservation areas in Southern Africa and dedicate his free time to causes like Gorongosa Restoration Project and Natura Moçambique.
Sarita Henriksen is currently the Director of Cooperation and International Relations at the Pedagogical University and was Dean of the Faculty of Language Sciences, Communication and Arts at the same University, where she has been a Professor since 1995, lecturing both at the undergraduate and post- graduate levels (PhD and MA). Sarita holds a PhD in Language Education Planning and Policy from Roskilde University and a Masters Degree in Linguistics in Education from St. Mary’s University College. She was Chair and Moderator of the High Level Ministerial Panel at the official launching of UNESCO’s Global Education Monitoring Report in Maputo on October 24 2017.
Tiago Filipe, Portuguese born in 1985, holds an integrated Master Degree in Civil Engineering since 2008 issued by Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon. Since 2012 he has been partner of BETAR and has more than 10 years of experience in Consultancy work as Civil Engineer, in Portugal, Mozambique and Malawi. He is currently based in Maputo, where is living since 2011, and he is one of the Project Coordinators of MzBETAR the Mozambican firm of BETAR Group. He starts its career as Structural Designer and further shifts its main activity to the Project Management and Coordination, having an broad experience (mainly acquired in Mozambique) in the fields of : i) Project Management; ii) Infrastructures Designs (roads, railways, Bridges, Buildings); iii) Inspection and Infrastructures Asset Management; and iv) Urban Planning and v) Technical Audits and Advisory. Shall be highlighted its participation on the integrated project of Maputo/Katembe Bridge and Roads and KaTembe Urban Planning since its earlier beginning.
Matthew Bell is a British national who has lived in South Africa with his wife and two children since 2011, with five years spent in Dubai before then. In 2016, Matt and his business partner established the Himoinsa Southern Africa subsidiary. Himoinsa Southern Africa is a subsidiary of Himoinsa Spain Limited, a leading manufacturer of diesel and gas generators from 3kVA to 3.3MVA, together with LV and MV alternators, control panels and paralleling systems, for the utility, mining, construction, retail, industrial, agricultural and telecom sectors. Matt is responsible for business development strategy and execution, to drive the growth of the business in Southern Africa in key market sectors including the property sector. Matt and Himoinsa have experience of supporting the retail and property sector on the continent and have executed various projects for key customers in the region. Providing safe, reliable, quiet and rapid black-start back-up generation for this sector are areas in which Himoinsa has experience, engineering expertise and quality technology to effectively support our customers.
Elton Olivier is a Professional Quantity Surveyor / Cost Engineer with over 15 years of experience in the building industry. He holds an Executive position in the PCC, Africa department at AECOM South Africa, based in Cape Town. He has been actively involved in various large scale projects in South Africa and Mozambique ranging from hotels, commercial, retail, industrial, healthcare, recreational centres and infrastructure works.
Samantha is a senior Real Estate Banker with over 16 years of property finance experience and well equipped to solution complex property transactions. Prior to joining Absa, she has worked at Nedbank with South African listed property funds and financed the development of the Alexander Forbes building in Sandton, which, at the time, was the largest development of a single asset in one construction period. In the Africa space, she is responsible for increasing the Bank’s exposure to multi-jurisdictional and institutional commercial property clients and is active in Botswana Namibia, Mauritius, Seychelles, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda and Mozambique. She holds a BComm Hons degree and currently completing an MBA.
Elmarie is a Senior Economist in Deloitte’s Africa Insights team. She is passionate about aligning public sector goals with private sector efficiency, and has extensively engaged with industry on delivering value beyond compliance. She assists clients in defining and executing their strategies, with expertise in macroeconomics, policy implications, localisation, and data-driven diversity and inclusivity strategies. She holds a Masters in Econometrics from University of Pretoria and an Honours in Mathematical Statistics and Economics from Stellenbosch University.
Adrian Frey is the Chairman of Beluluane Industrial Park – Mozambique’s largest industrial park and free-trade zone. Beluluane Industrial Park is a Public-Private Partnership with the aim to support investors with the necessary infrastructure and value-added services to successfully conduct business in Mozambique. The park currently has 35 companies from 15 different countries, supporting a workforce of over 5,000 employees. Adrian was born in Switzerland and holds a Law Degree from the University of Zürich. He is currently serving as the president of the Mozambican-Swiss Chamber of Commerce. Adrian is also a board member of the European Business Club.
A published author on leadership as well as local content development in the Middle East and Africa, Ms. De Vries’ passion for Africa and her tenacity have been nurtured in the course of a career that spans 5 continents. With Agility, a Kuwait-based global logistics and infrastructure company, for 15 years, Deanne is responsible for growing Agility’s footprint across the African continent. This includes funding and building a network of international standard logistics parks for Africa’s growing pharmaceutical, FMCG and oil and gas industries. Agility’s 29ha warehouse park in Maputo (Marracuene) opens July 2019.
Manuel Vieira is the chairman of Meridian32 company group, based in Mozambique. Meridian 32 is a services-focused group, including facilities management, property advisory, IT and telecom consulting, environmental impact assessments and technical training. Manuel has been a serial entrepreneur for the past 20 years, mostly in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Portugal. On his previous life he was a senior manager at Ernst & Young (auditing) and KPMG (consulting), the Financial Manager for Pestana Hotel Group in Southern Africa and special consultant to the Board of Petromoc.

Successful senior business management leader with proven, consistent track record of sales, business startups, growing operations management, corporate strategic management and leadership in Mozambique and Portugal. Further to the corporate activity where he sits in various Board of Directors, he’s the Vice President of CCMUSA/AmCham the Chamber of Commerce Mozambique USA. He served the Government of Mozambique and developed a sound network in Government Relations. His academic and technical degrees, the military background and fluency in English and Portuguese further bolster his qualifications.

Bernardo is currently the Head of Corporate and Investment Banking at Barclays Bank Mozambique, where he is responsible for the Corporate Banking, Investment Banking and Markets businesses. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of Barclays Mozambique. Bernardo was previously the Head of Investment Banking Coverage across the Southern and East Africa region. He was appointed to the position in June 2013 with over 13 years of banking experience primarily in the Project and Infrastructure Finance sector.
After joining Barclays in 2009 he has worked in the Project Finance sector with a focus on Portugal. Bernardo was then appointed the Co-Head of the International Debt Finance team at Barclays, based in London, responsible for all corporate debt origination in the EMEA region. Prior to Barclays, he was the director for Infrastructure Finance in Banesto (Santander Group) in Madrid and VP of the Project Finance team of CaixaBI (Caixa Geral) in Lisbon, with a focus on Europe, the US and Latin America. Bernardo has a degree in Economics from the Universidade Nova in Lisbon.
José Castilho is the MP of Broll in Mozambique. Prior to this role he was with RANI Investment as the Commercial Operations Manager. In Maputo Rani developed the iconic and integrated business tourism and real estate project, Rani Towers, comprising the Radisson Blu hotel, residential, offices, conference centre and retail uses. José formerly lead Real Estate Consulting, in Maputo, as General Manager. For the last 20 years José acted as business manager in lines of business related to consultancy, services and technology. As Head of Technology, for a private and investment bank in Portugal; General Manager for a Technology Company in Mozambique. José studied Computer Science in IST Portugal, and Business Management in UCP in Portugal.
José Manuel Caldeira is Lawyer, partner responsible for legal consultancy services in various areas, including legal advice to the Government of Mozambique. He has led or participated in the drafting of various Mozambican laws and regulations, including the Land Law and its regulations, the Mining Law and its regulations, environmental regulations related to mining, the Petroleum Activity Law, amendments to the Code of Civil Procedure, the Telecommunications Law, the Bankruptcy Code and regulations on road finance.
He has extensive experience in the institutional reform of the Mozambican public sector, including the judiciary and other institutions. Advice and drafting assistance in a variety of legal reform contexts. Extensive experience in institutional reform, including the judiciary and other State and municipal institutions. Extensive experience in labour related issues, including litigation, arbitration, tax and contracts.
Nuno Tavares is a Partner and General Manager at REC. With a bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate Management from ESAI (Escola Superior de Actividades Imobiliárias) in 2002, Nuno has started his career as valuer at CPU Consultores, one of the biggest valuation companies in Portugal, where he has worked from 2004 till 2013.
In 2011 Nuno concluded a Masters in Real Estate Management and Valuations at ISEG – Lisbon School of Economics and Management, allowing Nuno join the RICS as a Member.
In 2013 Nuno joined the REC team, having taken leadership of the company as General Manager in 2015.
Aly Faruque serves as a Commercial Director for the Corporate Banking segment at Millennium Bim, the largest financial institution in Mozambique. In his role, Aly assists the financial management and requirements of some of the largest companies operating in Mozambique, including developers, construction companies and retailers. Previously he directed Real Estate Asset Managers, Innovative, one ofthe most recent private initiatives in Mozambique, with the focus to provide integrated Real Estate management and consulting services to Investors, Developers and Institutions.
Prior to joining Innovative Asset Management,Aly was with CR Holdings for over 8 years during which he assisted the development and managed a portfolio of more than USD 100M He has currently attending the MBA program from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town.In addition, Aly also serves in a volunteer capacity at the Board of the Council for the Ismaili Community in Mozambique.
Alfonso is a Spanish MSC in Civil Engineering with almost 20 years of consolidated career in infrastructure public investments, institutional development and policy & strategy analysis in developing countries.
Almost four years ago Alfonso took a career break from his public sector activities in the European Institutions to develop new ideas and innovate in the areas of urban transformation and housing in the cities of the global South. He started-up with his brother and a small group of friends and Mozambican engineers and architects the company Casa Minha Lda to implement their vision of a transformational project for Polana Caniço: “Casa Minha Nosso Bairro”.

Partner & CEO Profield Consultants Ltd; Marketing Director at Império Bonança, SA; Market Manager at The Coca Cola Company (Portugal) and an Assistant Director of Banco Finantia, SA. Nuno is an expert Business Development Manager specializing in Real Estate project management and strategy. He has over 15 years of experience in Venture Capital. He holds an MBA from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbour and a Licentiate Agricultural Engineering from U. Técnica de Lisboa, Portugal.
Alexandre is the Director at CPU Intervalor which is an international multidisciplinary consultancy group in the fields of architecture, urban planning and property valuation. Alexandre has experience in Real State and Industrial Valuation, Mortgage Valuation, Architecture, Urban Planning, Sustainable Architecture, Project Management, Supervision of construction and Construction Management. He holds a Diploma in Architecture which was acquired in 2002 at the Universidade Lusíada in Portugal. Throughout his career he has been involved in numerous projects; more recently in 2018 he was involved in the Residential House in Praia das Chocas in Nampula and Logistic park and Warehouses in Matola.
Roger has a property generalist background having worked in valuations, investment sales, leasing, development, and finance. Roger has held positions of Head of Valuations in the Middle East, Head of Valuations for South Africa and Sub Saharan Africa. He has experience in the valuation of retail, commercial, industrial, residential, and development real estate in South Africa, Sub Saharan Africa and the Middle East.
He is a Fellow of RICS being a RICS Registered Valuer and Accredited Mediator. He holds a BSc in Estate Management from De Montfort University and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School in the UK.
João is the Development Manager at Hodari Mozambique. He holds a Degree of Architecture and Urban Management and a Masters in Real Estate Development from some faculty. After becoming Director of Advisory and Valuations in CPU Consultants, one of the largest Portuguese consultancy companies, in 2010 João completed a second Masters in Real Estate Management and Valuations from the University of Economics and Management of Lisbon. João is also a registered Chartered Surveyors with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). As Director in CPU João worked with Angola, Cap Vert and Mozambique. In 2011 João moved to Maputo to start REC, a consultancy company in Mozambique that provides valuations, market and feasibility studies.
Clinton joined the financial services industry in 2006 and has more than 13 years’ experience in Asset Management serving in several key roles in investment teams with an emerging market focus. In January 2019, Clinton joined Grit Real Estate Income Group. Based in Mauritius, Clinton fulfills the role of Investment Manager, driving and evaluating real estate opportunities that generate value for Grit’s shareholders.
Prior to Grit, Clinton was a member of the Advisory Team at STANLIB Asset Management in Johannesburg where he was an Investment Manager for the STANLIB Africa Direct Property
Development Fund. This Private Equity Fund invested in greenfield commercial real estate development opportunities across sub-Saharan Africa. Clinton has real estate experience in eight African jurisdictions – Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Uganda, Kenya, Mozambique, South Africa and Mauritius. He has been a been a Director on the Board for portfolio companies and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centres Sub-Saharan Africa Research Committee. Previously he was a member of the South African Property Owners Association (SAPOA) Sustainability Committee.

Khalil is an experienced business development professional with a strong background of working with a wide range of industries including oil and gas, manufacturing, construction, public sector, renewable energy and financial services. He is the Business Development Manager of Memaar Building Systems (MBS), a UAE based Pre-Engineered Steel Building (PEB) manufacturer. MBS is one of the largest manufacturers of PEB’s in the world, supplying buildings to over 80 countries around the world including Africa, Middle East, CIS, Indo Pacific, Latin America, and Europe. With over 250 engineers, MBS has designed, manufactured and supplied over 40,000 steel buildings.
